Want to make God Laugh???

Ever heard the saying "If you want to make God laugh tell him what you've got planned" ? Funny because it's so true. Everyday we plan to do so much and sometimes feel frustrated when we do not complete what we plan to do. In life we try so hard to control what we cannot. We tend to forget that we have to let go and let God. I used to wonder how do you know when God is talking to you? How does he communicate with us? Have you? Could it be that little voice in your head that reassures you that you are going to make it through? Is it that friend or family member that just starts talking to you and has no idea what your going through yet the message has everything to do with you? Is he talking to me through someone or something?. Have you ever opened your bible and looked down at that scripture that is pertaining to your situation at that very moment?Know that you are not alone and God communicates with us in many different ways. Everything we go through is to make us stronger and to bring us back to our father. Its like a storm all you have to do is ride it out and blessings will follow. Allow God to be your umbrella. Were capable of directing and determining the outcome of any and every situation we face through the power of God. No one but you can ever be held accountable for what you do. Remember how strong you are and remember you are Gods chosen. Don't put your faith in people because people will let you down. God will not. Think about where you came from and where you are now. If you only look at what is, you might never attain what could be. What we see depends mainly on what we look for. All you have to do is seek and you shall find. God is right there just call on him. Isaiah 41:10 God says"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand." Funny what I wrote above is not anywhere near what I planned to write . My spirit just spoke and my fingers just typed. I decided to listen to that voice..... I'm Off to pray and strengthen my armor. Storms have a habit of coming when you least expect it. I'm not worried because I have a HUGE umbrella :)

SUMMER JOHNSON AN EVOLVER!

I am what I am. Someone who's been through enough to know I have much more to go through in order to get to MY DESTINATION. If you know me, and know my background you know I am a fighter... A God fearing woman with the passion of an orchestra. My career has taken me places some only dream of; It's also taken me thru uncertainty, heartbreaks, and unannounced changes. See there are sides to this business that are rarely shown due to the bright lights and beautiful ballads often used to keep us blinded from the truth. The truth is there isn't much TRUTH unless you make one. You have to find out who you are. No record label, A&R, or producer can reveal this. This is something YOU must find. This is why it boggles my mind when we use the term ARTIST DEVELOPMENT. I believe you cannot develop what already exists, and if what exists inside you does not coincide with who the world thinks you should be you get a super sonic clash! So when your pendulum snaps and things look bleak just know that beyond the bright star there's a GOD! So as I continue to find my way I only ask that he be my artist developer, and that he leads me in the direction of success far beyond where any being on the planet can take me... 

The person is still the same; With a slight bit of BRAND NEW mixed in. The name however has changed. Meet SUMMER J.A.E. for those wondering where the J.A.E. came from it stands for Summer Johnson an Evolver. It's kind of like when Malcolm X found himself during his prison sentence, and became X; Or when the great Cassius Clay changed his name to Muhammad Ali. It's a move of liberation. A NEW BEGINNING

Greetings Humans

Last year in 2008 I made a major transition in my life.:)I finally got the N.E.R.D. impostors out of my system. Summer finally chose to cut the strings and is no longer apart of the puppet show. Needless to say someone else has decided to attache the strings and play the understudy. I wish my past life and everyone in it the best :). I began to shed the dead weight and made allot of life changing decisions.  I learned to embrace, love, and be ME. People say all the time "I need to do some soul searching". What a Cliche! I mean you search and search when the answer is right in your face. How can you become who you need to be if you can't even accept who you want to change. Anyway I learned to love all of me and in doing so I am able to acknowledge where I need change in my life. Yes I have made mistakes and did things I am not to proud of. But that's what makes me Human. I have learned to manage what was thought to be unmanageable. I'm recording my new album and ready to embark on a new journey.  Won't you join me? Talk to me and let me be you ear as you are mine. Well it is time for me to get some beauty rest. Love you much MUAH!
