Christian Morning Meditation

Today take the time out to MEDITATE....Find strength and peace to greet the day with  morning meditation ;)

Meditation~cultivating the presence of God through meditation: contemplation, thought,thinking, musing, pondering, consideration, reflection, deliberation,rumination, brooding, reverie, brown study, concentration; prayer;formal cogitation.
If you choose to recap on your favorite scripture or just talk with God :) So take an early morning walk and meditate! 
I arise today 
Through the strength of heaven;  

Light of the sun, 
Splendor of fire, 
Swiftness of wind, 

Depth of the sea, 
Stability of earth, 
Firmness of rock. 

I arise today 
Through God's strength to pilot me; 
God's might to uphold me, 
God's wisdom to guide me, 
God's hand to guard me. 

Afar and anear, 
Alone or in a multitude. 

Christ shield me today 
Against wounding: 

Christ with me,
Christ before me, 
Christ behind me, 

Christ on my right, 
Christ on my left, 

Christ beneath me, 
Christ above me, 
Christ in me. 

I arise today 
Through the mighty strength 
Of the Lord of Creation.

It's Been Awhile....WHAT IF??????

Hey Everyone :) okay so I know it has been a while since you and I last touched base...To be honest I have been off the radar sort of say....I am back in the swing of things and Moving :) please check out my twitter and see my new background and tell me what you think :) http://twitter.com/#!/summerjae also check out my bandcamp to hear my music:) http://summerjae.bandcamp.com/ Okay so I watched a show not to long ago tittled " How to Die in Oregon" what a Documentary....In 1994 Oregon became the first state to legalize physician-assisted suicide. At the time, only Belgium, Switzerland, and the Netherlands had legalized the practice. 'How to Die in Oregon' tell the stories of those most intimately involved with the practice today -- terminally ill Oregonians, their families, doctors, and friends -- as well as the passage of an assisted suicide law in Washington State. So even though i know suicide is wrong i was still emotionally touched and sort of confused....How do you sit and watch your loved one die painfully...I know  :) some are going to read this and have their views...but I do understand the HUMAN nature of the idea of not wanting to see your loved one in pain and not wanting your loved one to see you in pain....I am not saying that it is Okay..Just what an emotional situation and decision to have to deal with...Check it out for yourself http://youtu.be/IbhoYK5inaE and leave a comment on your thoughts about it....What if your loved one was suffering terribly and in great pain? What if they wanted you to support them with this decision...would you?
