I can’t say it enough, but I love it when I get the opportunity to give new and upcoming independent artists some shine!! Now this doesn’t happen with everyone I listen to because some artists simply get CRICKETS!But, when I’m on your team, I’m going to do my best to talk you up as much as I can. I discovered Summer Jae because she started following me on Twitter. I clicked on her Twitter page and she had a link to her MySpace page, so I said let me check her out! DING, DING, DING folks we have a winner!! Summer Jae is bringing the HEAT! Her single “Sanctify Me” had me bouncing and singing along by the time it got to the chorus! I think I liked her even more because she sounds very similar to an R&B singer I LOVE named Jazzy. If you’re an R&B head check her out. ANYHOO, Summer Jae is based out of Miami, FL and worked the R&B circuit until God changed her life and now she is adamant about singing for Jesus and no one else. Sorry my single Christian fellas, she is already married in holy matrimony and has a bouncing baby boy. When I received Summer’s bio I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t just a laundry list of who she’s worked with, but it was really about who she is, where she’s been and where God is taking her.
